Requirements to Become an RN in Colorado
One of the fastest ways to become a Registered Nurse (RN) in Colorado and other states is to earn an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN). Depending on your placement exam scores, prior credits earned, school choice, and full-time or part-time attendance, you can complete your degree in two to three years. After completing your required coursework, you must pass the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) to obtain a license from the Colorado Board of Nursing.
