Requirements to Become an RN in New Jersey
To become an RN in New Jersey, you must complete an accredited nursing program that awards an associate or bachelor's degree. During your RN training, you will learn everything you need to pass the NCLEX-RN licensing exam, which consists of two parts: a computerized adaptive test (CAT) and a clinical skills assessment (CSA). If you achieve satisfactory scores on both parts of the exam, you can apply for an RN license from the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
